We stayed here in early July and quickly fell in love with the place, the views, the food, and Elisa and Michele who are the sweetest and most generous hosts!

My fiancé actually connected with Elisa and Michele over a month in advance to coordinate his surprise proposal to me, and they recommended a photographer, a gorgeous lookout to do it at, made a picnic basket full of sparkling wine and Italian treats, made us our favorite dessert of Tiramisu, and even convinced me to go to the lookout where we got engaged.

They were absolutely fantastic hosts and just the sweetest people - and the food and spa were incredible. I am so grateful to them for helping plan our engagement and we cannot wait to return. Highly recommend visiting Le Colonne - this place is magical and so are the people.

AMAZING PLACE !
After being warmly welcomed by the hotel managers, we were touched by their genuine kindness and hospitality. We enjoyed delicious homemade cuisine of exceptional quality (here Michele with tasty home-made bread !) and had the chance to take in the beauty and elegance of the place. The tasteful and generous decor contributes to the charm of this truly complete and magnificent establishment.

This is without a doubt a must-visit address in the Maira Valley region. We’ve already decided to come back and make the most of all the facilities.

Newly (re)opened hotel managed by Elisa and Michele, who are charming and gracious hosts. We stayed here for 3 nights - it was our last stop of 4 total in the valley. One thing to highlight is the restaurant: Even though the other places had great food, this place clearly came out on top. Chef Michele is very talented. The hotel is an ideal base for hiking. During the day you can venture out to one of the surrounding peaks, return for a couple of hours in the spa and enjoy a fantastic dinner in the evening. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

A truly magical place! We stayed at Le Colonne for three nights and it could not have been more perfect. Recently opened, the place is run by Michele and Elisa who are the most personable and charming hosts I could imagine - they really made our stay! Michele is a true Italian chef making the most of seasonal and local ingredients, and every one of his dishes left us speechless (or exclaiming: "Man, this guy can cook!"). In the resort's restaurant, he cooked up everything from comfort food by way of a delicious ragu di pecora or fried porcini, to innovative dishes such as a tempura roe deer, a beautiful coniglio with meatballs or spaghettoni with cauliflower and chard. Beyond the stellar food, the spa offers a great opportunity to relax after a hard day of hiking in the beautiful surroundings, and afterwards the team pampers you with aperitivo at the bar which boasts an extensive array of wines, spritz' and artisanal beers.
The beds are super comfortable and the rooms thoughtfully and beautifully furnished, and breakfast is again a delight, with Michele's homemade cakes, bread and local pastries.
I really cannot recommend the place enough and we are already planning when we can return again.

We’ve been there as guests in the spa on a rainy day and had lunch in the restaurant afterwards. It was amazing! The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful, the staff was very friendly and welcoming and the food excellent. Highly recommended!

Non si può chiedere di più! Titolari gentilissimi e super disponibili, la cucina assolutamente da non perdere con piatti preparati con materie prime eccellenti, camera spaziosa e PULITISSIMA dotata di balcone con vista mozzafiato.
La spa una vera chicca, ci si può veramente rilassare!
Insomma, una struttura in cui ritornare al più presto e consigliare!
